Curatorial & Event Management
Curator for a display on Cedric Morris and Derek Jarman at the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery in 2023.
Executive Committee for CASW (Contemporary Art Society for Wales). Research and contribute to discussions about potential acquisitions, using CASW’s acquisition policy as a guide.
Writing a text on artist Muriel Clement & producing catalogue of work. Art will be exhibited in a new project space in Birmingham.
Past: Jerwood UNITe Intern at g39. Supporting five artists in residence, writing monthly e-bulletins and administrative responsibilities. Produced a podcast & interactive publication.
Curatorial Assistant at Grand Union for 6 months. Involved with delivering the following exhibitions: Jamie Crewe: Love & Solidarity, Cooking Sections: The Empire Remains and Lauren Gault: drye eyes. Independently curated an event (pictured) for The Natural Home of Unruly Outsiders.
Curatorial Assistant at Studio Cennen. Wrote and designed a text on the sculptor Gillian Still for a retrospective exhibition in May 2021.
Marketing
Past: Social Media Coordinator for Josef Herman Art Foundation. Gained the Foundation a feature on TV within a month of the role.
Press Officer for Studio Cennen. Wrote PR for ‘Let the Darkness in.’
Public-Facing Role
Past: VIP Assistant, Frieze London.
Shop Manager at Gill Clement. Managed the GC stall at the Worshipful Company of Pewterers prestigious event, Pewter Live.
Library & Archive Assistant at Glynn Vivian Art Gallery. Managed the library on a daily basis. Gave tours and talks to the public on resources. Proficiency in using online database.
